Nehemiah continues to flourish with new and promising partnerships. Probably the most exciting recent collaborative efforts have been with churches committed to working with neighbothoods around them. Presently, Nehemiah is working in three such neighborhoods in Aiken, Mt. Pleasant, and Spartanburg County.

Our recent work with church- neighborhood partnerships is founded on the principles of assets-based community development. True neighborhood revitalization starts with neighbors using their God-given gifts to transform their neighborhoods on their own terms. This is challenging and exciting work.
