POTENTIAL NEW AFFORDABLE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT COMING SOON!
Nehemiah Community Revitalization Corporation is seeking input regarding design, location, amenities, and development/management of a proposed new affordable housing development. Nelson Cove will consist of 16 new three bedroom townhomes. Six triplex 2 bedroom units are also planned along with two 2 bedroom duplex units. The units primarily target renters making 60% and below of the area median income in Spartanburg County, but five of the units will accommodate market renters and two units will target renters with special needs. A community building will be constructed to provide a leasing office, a kitchenette, a tenant computer room, a laundry and maintenance facilities. This new development is expected to benefit not only the new residents, but also our existing residents in Draymont Place. We expect to hold a few meetings in the neighborhood to discuss our plans and to gain your input. We would love to hear from the community while planning this development.
